Top 5 Scariest Kids Movies

Hi guys!!

As Halloween is coming up soon, I thought I would make a list of Top 5 Scariest Kids Movies!! Mwhahahah!! And, if you

want to watch any of them, I will include a short description about the movie and then you can see if it's for you! These films listed are mainly for kids.

5. Edward Scissorhands

Edward Scissorhands is about a young man who has scissor blades for hands. This movie guides you through the the love story of a girl named Kim and a cursed man called Edward Scissorhands. Will these two be able to live a life together?


Main Characters: Jonny Deph as Edward Scissorhands and Winona Ryder as Kim.


4. Casper

Casper is a kind young ghost who peacefully haunts a mansion in Maine. When specialist James Harvey arrives to communicate with Casper and his fellow spirits, he brings along his teenage daughter, Kat. Casper quickly falls in love with Kat but their budding relationship is complicated- how can a ghost love a human? 


Main Characters:  Casper voiced by Malachi Pearson, Bill Pullman as James Harvey and Christina Ricci as Kat. 


3.  The Witches

While staying at a hotel in England with his grandmother, Helga, young Luke spies on a convention of witches. The Grand High Witch reveals a plan to turn all children into mice through a magical formula. When they find that Luke has overheard, the witches test the formula on him. Now, with the help of Helga and the hotel manager, Mr. Stringer, Luke the mouse must fight back against the witches.

Main Characters: Jasen Fisher as Luke, Angelica Huston as The Grand High Witch, Mai Zetterling as Helga and Rowan Atkinson (yes the Mr Bean actor) as Mr. Stringer. 

2.  The Addams Family 

When a man claiming to be Fester, the missing brother of Gomez Addams, arrives at the Addams' home, the family is thrilled. However, Morticia begins to suspect the man is a fraud, since he cannot recall details of Fester's life. With the help of lawyer Tully Alford, Fester manages to get the Addams clan evicted from their home. Gomez realizes the two men are conspiring to swindle the Addams fortune and that he must challenge Fester.

Main Characters: Christopher Lloyd (yes the doctor from Back to The Future) as the Man, Gomez Addams played by Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston as Morticia and Dan Hedaya as Tully Alford the Lawyer. 

1. Hocus Pocus

Teenager Max Dennison explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani and their new friend, Allison. After dismissing a story Allison tells as 

superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.

Main Characters: Omri Katz as Max Dennison, Thora Birch as Dani, Vinessa Shaw as Allison and Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the three Witches.
